In English, we finished our novel study on The Witches by Roald Dahl. Children worked on using Latin prefixes and what they mean while also having a go at role playing as certain human-animals. As a nice treat on Friday, we watched The Witches film. Children used a T chart to compare the book to the film. I hope everyone didn't get too scared! Remember, it's just a film!
In topic, children have almost completed their Ancient Greek God/Goddess information posters. They are looking really good so far. I'll hopefully get some pictures up next week of our finished display.

The Good Behaviour Award and Good Work Award this week will be carried over as we didn't have our Friday assembly due to Judo.
Hopefully you managed to visit our Book Fair this week! They had lots of great books to choose from there.
Children had their Destination Judo taster session on Friday which they seemed to enjoy. They also had a music demonstration on Tuesday. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity, as it's much easier to learn to play musical instruments when you are younger.
Thank-you to everyone who attended our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday too. We raised some funds for a great cause and couldn't have done it without your help.
Remember to read and record in your Reading Record. Also be sure to study your spellings and times tables when possible.
Have a great weekend everyone!
