In English we ended our focus on playscripts by making playscripts! Genius I know! I look forward to reading through these. Everyone is able to use the playscript format, some need to work on description and excitement within their writing though.
In Maths we looked at telling time again and also reviewed converting measurements. Most found this tricky so that is why the homework is more practise with this. As always, homework is due on the Tuesday we are back from half-term.
We started our unit on 'Why is recycling important?' this week. On the back of the homework is a household survey to complete. Once we have all the homework back in we will calculate the results to see areas where we can improve. We each play a small part in the world, but if enough of us do our part we will see huge improvements!
Who remembers what the recycling logo looks like? What are some of the recyclable materials we studied?
Beyond studying for your spelling test on the Tuesday we get back, be sure to read and record in your yellow log book and practise your times tables.
Remember if you are told you are swimming you need to bring in your swimming kit on Wednesdays.
I hope everyone has a fantastic half-term break, whether you're going away or just relaxing at home!
