In English, children wrote a recount text about their Bonfire Night experiences and learned the features of an explanation text and how these are different from recount texts.
In topic, we completed a pre-learning assessment of their knowledge of forces and magnets. Next week we'll begin to look at how magnets work and which objects are magnetic.
The ei/eigh/ey spellings were tested on Monday. Top Spellers this week were: Daniel, Logan, Eve A, Ellie Sophie S, Rhys and Eve H. Well done to you all. +2 HPs each.

Homework this week is some practise with commonly misspelt words! It is due in on Tuesday as usual.
