In English, children reviewed how to write dialogue again. They also made an adverb bank to be used later. The main focus of the week was on story-writing. Children made a story map plan then wrote their stories. They were asked to include adverb starters, some dialogue and lots of powerful adjectives. I'll have a read through the final copies and let you know next week how they went! Homework this week is a chance to write a Valentine's Day poem! Oh la la! :-) Be sure to include some of the poetic devices we've learned already: similes, metaphors, alliteration and onomatopoeia.
In topic, we looked at some of the names of the bones in the body. Have a go at the game we played in class! We also looked at how our experiment is progressing. Some of the eggs look unchanged, but the energy drink egg looks disgusting already!
Check them out after only 3 days...
