This week in maths we looked at using the inverse operation to check answers. We also worked with negative numbers and reviewed all formal operation methods.
In English, we practised our puppet presentations and then performed them! Children did quite well with this and I could tell that they really enjoyed this activity. It was quite a bit of work considering the children designed and made their own puppets and wrote out their own play scripts to perform. Well done to all!
Top Spellers this week were: James, Alanah, Ellie, Jacob, Daniel, Eve A, Sophie S and Eve H. +2 HPs each.
The Good Behaviour Award this week went to Ellie for helping others without being asked.
The Good Work Award this week went to James for his great effort in maths.
The Class DOJO Winner this week was a draw between many, so we'll carry the points over to the start of summer term.
Well done to you all! +5 HPs each!
Over the term break, be sure to continue to read at least three times per week. Also be sure to record the date and pages read in your yellow log book. Homework for over the break is a massive wordsearch that I made using most of the word from the Y3/4 Statutory Words List. Be sure to study those words a little bit every now and then over the break, along with your times tables!
I hope you all have a safe and relaxing term break. Take care everyone!
