In English, children focused on clauses. No, not The Clauses, they're busy preparing for later on in the year. Main clauses and subordinate clauses were learned, which allowed them to understand the three main sentence types: simple sentences, compound sentences and complex sentences. Homework this week is further practise writing sentences using subordinate clauses in different places. Lastly, children also revised and wrote out the good copy of their letter replies to their pen pals in Canada.
In topic, children started their Roman presentation research and PowerPoint. We'll continue with these next week, with hopes of presenting them towards the end of the week or early the week after.
