This week has been quite productive. We've continued to work on our light projects (inventor focus) and as a result most groups are now complete. These information posters look great. Be sure to keep an eye out for them next to our class exit!
We have put a lot of 'time' into our maths work this week. The children should know how to answer word problems relating to time. They can also read and interpret timetables. Lastly, the children used spreadsheet software on the computers to produce charts based on the data they collected themselves earlier in the week.

In English we have looked at plural rules, pronouns and building powerful sentences, while also creating another recount text for our Big Write. Some of the rules that words follow to become plural are tough to remember. Anyone remember any? Have a go at this game for further help with plurals.
Homework this week is a mixture of maths (time/timetable problems) and English (commonly misspelled words). Since we are off on the Monday it will be due on Wednesday 6th May.
Our spelling test will be on the Tuesday as usual.

It's a short week next week with the Bank Holiday on the Monday and the election on the Thursday so make sure you are all present the rest of the days! Read and record in your yellow log book as usual and practise your times tables if you get the chance.
