In Maths this week we continued to look at charts. Specifically we learned how to answer questions based on the data observed in charts.
What is another name for the horizontal axis?
In English we continued our focus on recount texts. There was a lot of peer evaluation this week as we tried to note all the positive things everyone was including in their recount text work. We worked up to writing our own recounts in the Big Write on Friday. The plans we did earlier in the week made this bit of writing a lot easier.
In Topic, we are in the process of making information posters on either Thomas Edison or Joseph Swan, both of which helped to create the light bulb! The posters are starting to take shape and within a few more lessons they should be ready to display for all to behold! Check out the video on this page to see how light bulbs are made nowadays!
The glorious weather this week allowed us to get outside and continue practising our passing and catching skills with hopes that these skills will 'serve' us well within the game of tennis.
