What is the saying I taught you to remember when to use each symbol?
In English, we continued reading our class novel. Children learned about Table Mountain and even wrote a descriptive paragraph of it from a picture provided. We also started our Pen Pal letters to children in Canada. We'll write these letters out in good next week with hopes of sending them off soon after. Children seem excited about the notion of finding out about school life in another country on another continent, which is good to see.
In topic, we started our new unit: Bones and Teeth. Children have come up with questions to guide their learning and we've put these questions up in class. We also started to make skeletons, which we will use to label the different bones next week.
Top Spellers this week were: Jasmin, Grace, Sophie, Ella, Reuben, Ethan F, Dominic, Matthew, Tom, Layla, Ellie E and Kyle. Well done! +2 HPs each.

Remember to bring in your PE kit and reading folder each day. Homework is due on Tuesday, the same day we have our spelling test. Practise those spellings and times tables whenever you get the chance. Same goes for reading!
Have a great weekend everyone.
