Homework this week is another chance to have a go at writing a poem. This time, you can write about any topic and use any format. If you really want a challenge, try making it rhyme!
Week 7 Spellings
pair - I bought a pair of gloves for winter.
pear - The pear was sweet and juicy.
peace - Be at peace with one another.
piece - Where is the last piece of the puzzle?
rays - The rays of light shone through the window.
raise - Raise your hand if you have a question.
write - Be sure to write your DUMTUM neatly.
right - Pile your books on the table to the right.
sea - We took the ferry across the sea.
see - I can see for miles and miles.
This is the last week for words that sound the same but are spelled differently. After Week 7 (and the half-term break) the words will be significantly more challenging, so get studying now!
The Good Work Award went to Dominic for his great job ordering decimal numbers, while the Good Behaviour Award went to Ellie F for winning DOJOs again last week.
This week, Ellie E won the DOJOs, thanks in part to getting her playscript work put up on the Awesome Wall. Well done Ellie E! +10HPs.
